On May 3rd, JXVTC carried out the onlinemeeting with Queenstown Reserve College(abbreviation as QRC). YAN Peiqiang(President),WANG Minhua(Vice-president), GAO Huiying(Dean of Cultural and Tourism BranchSchool) , WANG Yan(Director of Academic Affairs Office), FANG Yiqun(ViceDirector of International Cooperation Department)and the staff of School ofInternational Education attended.
President YANG Peiqiang gave the opening speech bymentioning the retrospective of the whole project, the appreciation towardsQRC, the current situation of pandemic and willing of continuous cooperationunder a friendly and pragmatic negotiation.
This meeting, as the first session of JointManagement Committee, aims to confirm the new members and synchronize theprogress of NZQA application. Both sides also exchange the opinions about thesupplementary agreement and follow up issues, such as activities includingonline cultural exchange and courses for students, student recruitment andother project related topics.
President Charlie from QRC ended up by reaching theconsensus in basis of constant communication, mutual understanding and positiveengagement for overcoming the difficulties and moving forward the projects. Healso highly appreciated JXVTC’s innovative suggestion for enhancing thecooperation in various fields.
This meeting is quiet meaningful though the projectis temporarily pending due to the pandemic. It rebuilds a firm relationship forboth sides and clarifies a common goal to surmount all kinds of difficultieswith strong willing to implement the project. Both JXVTC and QRC share the sameoptimist vision not only on the success of the project but also on a brightfuture of international cooperation in vocational education.
