On May 28th , JXVTC organized a Joint Fashion Show of fashion graduates in cooperation with IUAD(Accademia Della Moda). The municipal officers, school leaders, representatives of IUAD attended. This Sino-Italy visual feast was broadcast live on China.com worldwide, and more than 800,000 people watched it online.
Mr. Fang Junliang, the Secretary of the Party committee of JXVTC gave the official opening speech: Our school has organized 3 years of Fashion Show consecutively, the Joint Fashion show this year will write up a fabulously new page of international cooperation. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, JXVTC dedicates to the commitment of promoting vocational education under the guide of national policy, strives for upgrading the Fashion Design Major construction and surely keeps strengthening the integration of Enterprise and School for serving the local economic development.
Ms. Erica Marigliani and Mr. Alberto Corrado from IUAD expressed their expectations towards this fashion show via VCR.
The fashion graduates of JXVTC displayed more than 20 series of originally designed costumes while the students of IUAD exhibited 10 series online. The young designers showed their individuality, presented new trends in the fashion industry, brought a fantastic visual feast to the audience, it was the best interpretation of the craftsmanship in fashion industry. There were constant applause and cheers which put the atmosphere on fire.
The representatives of IUAD were excited and gave the pertinent comments with admiration.
Ms. Erica Marigliani said: The works of young talent are incredibly amazing. I have seen both traditional figures and allure cutting. It is impressive, the works well interpreted the equilibrium of traditional design and modern element.Mr. Alberto Corrado added: The works are full of creativity with an international vision. I firmly believe that the young talent will be the main force to bring Chinese Design to the world and be widely recognized by international fashion community.
